Make a difference by supporting students’ educational journeys as a Bilingual Educational Diagnostician. This full-time contract role is tailored for professionals fluent in both English and Spanish, skilled at evaluating and identifying student learning needs within diverse educational settings.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification as an Educational Diagnostician
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, comfortable conducting assessments in both languages
- Previous experience working in schools preferred, especially with middle school and elementary age groups
- Strong understanding of special education compliance, assessment tools, and report writing
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students, including bilingual assessments as needed
- Utilize a variety of testing instruments and procedures to identify eligibility for special education services
- Collaborate with ARD facilitators (attendance required) to interpret findings and develop appropriate education plans
- Work closely with school psychologists and other support staff to ensure holistic, student-centered approaches
- Manage a caseload primarily consisting of middle school students, with some elementary assessments
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and ensure all protocols adhere to district and state guidelines
- Participate in meetings, provide consultation for instructional staff, and support family engagement regarding evaluation findings
- Participate in a potential hybrid caseload, with some flexibility, though in-person assessments are required
