Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician
• Experience with assessments and special education processes for elementary and middle school students (1st–9th grades)
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local requirements concerning the identification of students with disabilities
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in developing and interpreting comprehensive evaluation reports
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students' strengths and areas of need
• Collaborate with general and special education teachers to develop effective interventions and supports
• Facilitate and participate in ARD/IEP meetings, ensuring legal compliance and advocacy for students
• Maintain detailed documentation and assessment records in accordance with regulations
• Provide consultative services and training for instructional staff regarding accommodations, modifications, and instructional strategies
• Support the implementation of individualized educational plans and monitor student progress
