Step into a pivotal role as a full-time educational diagnostician in a supportive school-based environment. You’ll work with a diverse group of students from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade, playing an essential part in evaluating students' educational needs and facilitating successful learning experiences.

You’ll maintain regular hours that offer flexibility—choose either 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.—with a full hour lunch to recharge midday. Your caseload will consist of approximately 100 students, giving you the opportunity to make a meaningful difference across multiple grade levels.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician
  • Previous experience working within school settings, ideally with elementary populations
  • Expertise in administering a variety of standardized and informal assessment tools
  • Deep understanding of special education laws, procedures, and best practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations for referred students (PK-5)
  • Analyze assessment data and interpret results to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Facilitate and participate in ARD meetings, ensuring compliance and advocating for students’ needs
  • Provide recommendations for instructional strategies and accommodations
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to monitor and review students’ progress
