We're seeking a dedicated professional with a strong background in assessment and evaluation, ready to support middle school students during the 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity is located in the Spring, TX area and requires full-time, in-person availability at a vibrant middle school campus.
As an educational diagnostician, you’ll play a vital role in advocating for student needs by conducting thorough evaluations and participating in ARDs, while collaborating with supportive specialist staff on campus. Your experience will help ensure that students receive the accommodations and services necessary for their academic success.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification is mandatory
- Proven experience serving as an educational diagnostician in Texas public schools, ideally at the middle school level
- Demonstrated proficiency in conducting assessments and participating in the ARD process
- Up-to-date fingerprinting and background clearance with the district (required prior to start date)
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Committed to working on-site, 40 hours per week, throughout the contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer psycho-educational evaluations and interpret findings
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement educational recommendations
- Participate actively in ARD meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with district and regulatory requirements
- Serve as a resource for staff on assessment and eligibility criteria
