Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Educational Diagnostician certification
  • Previous experience as an Educational Diagnostician preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of evaluation instruments, IEP processes, and eligibility criteria
  • Proven ability to assess and diagnose learning and behavioral needs for students in grades 1 through 9
  • Strong skills in consultation, collaboration, and problem-solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Understanding of laws relating to special education, Section 504, and IDEA

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify student strengths and needs across multiple grade levels
  • Interpret assessment results and assist in eligibility determinations
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Provide clear, actionable recommendations to support student learning and inclusion
  • Participate in ARD/IEP meetings as an essential team member
  • Offer ongoing consultation and support for instructional strategies and classroom accommodations
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with all regulations
