Qualifications & Ideal Experience:

  • Certification as an Educational Diagnostician or eligibility for certification.
  • Experience working with students across multiple grade levels, particularly 1st–9th grades.
  • Strong understanding of special education processes, assessments, and state/federal guidelines.
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, parents, teachers, and administrators.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and report-writing skills.
  • Adaptability to work effectively across elementary and middle school settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive educational assessments for students in 1st through 9th grades to identify needs and recommend interventions.
  • Compile, analyze, and interpret testing data for ARD/IEP meetings and compliance documentation.
  • Partner with teachers and staff to design and implement instructional modifications and accommodations.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to families regarding student assessment results and recommended support strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with legal and district requirements.
  • Participate in professional development and remain current on best practices in educational diagnostics.
