You’ll be part of a full-time schedule during the academic year, delivering essential evaluation and intervention services in-person on campus.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Educational Diagnostician certification (required)
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational diagnostics, preferably at the intermediate grade level
- Strong knowledge of current federal, state, and local regulations in special education evaluation and compliance
- Proficient in administering and interpreting psychoeducational assessments
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
- Organizational skills for managing caseload documentation, timelines, and reporting
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education services
- Collaborate with educators and families to gather background information and observations
- Prepare clear, compliant evaluation reports and recommendations
- Participate actively in ARD/IEP meetings, interpreting assessment results and contributing to individualized planning
- Maintain timely, accurate records and ensure confidentiality at all times
- Provide ongoing support, consultation, and progress monitoring as required
