Job Overview: Are you an experienced Educational Diagnostician seeking a rewarding career opportunity? Soliant is seeking a dedicated Educational Diagnostician to join our team in Sugar Land, TX. In this role, you will play a crucial part in assessing students' educational needs and collaborating with school staff to support their academic success.

Job Description: As an Educational Diagnostician, you will conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' strengths and challenges in learning. You will collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and recommend appropriate interventions and accommodations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' academic abilities and learning challenges.
  • Analyze assessment results and generate detailed reports outlining students' educational needs.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and students to develop effective IEPs tailored to students' unique needs.
  • Recommend appropriate educational strategies, interventions, and accommodations to support student learning and development.
  • Monitor students' progress and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and accommodations.
  • Stay informed about current educational practices, policies, and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of assessment findings and educational plans.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Education, Special Education, or related field.
  • Certification as an Educational Diagnostician or eligibility for certification in Texas.
  • Previous experience conducting assessments and developing IEPs preferred.
  • Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
