Make a real impact shaping students’ educational journeys as an Educational Diagnostician for the upcoming academic year. This full-time contract position is ideal for dedicated professionals excited to work with elementary-age students in an itinerant capacity. Spanning from August 12, 2026, through May 27, 2027, you'll cover multiple campuses and contribute to comprehensive ARD meetings and evaluations with the support of campus ARD Specialists.
Qualifications:
- Active Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification is required.
- Strong background in performing educational assessments and participating in ARD meetings.
- Several years of experience as a diagnostician, preferably within Texas public schools.
- Comfortable managing a caseload of elementary students across multiple campuses.
- Ability to work in-person, 40 hours per week, throughout the school year.
- Must be able to obtain district fingerprint clearance prior to start.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct timely and thorough educational evaluations for elementary students referred for special services.
- Participate and collaborate in ARD meetings, working closely with campus specialists and multidisciplinary teams.
- Analyze and interpret assessment data to support individualized learning plans.
- Maintain detailed documentation and ensure compliance with state and district standards.
- Travel to various assigned campuses as needed to support student and team needs.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families to ensure appropriate educational interventions and services.
