Step into a vital role supporting student growth and achievement as an Educational Diagnostician for the 2025–2026 school year! This is an engaging contract opportunity in a school-based setting, working in-person to deliver comprehensive diagnostic and assessment services. As part of a collaborative team, you will help shape supportive educational experiences and ensure that students’ diverse needs are identified and addressed effectively.

Qualifications & Background:

  • Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician in Texas
  • Professional experience working in K–12 settings, preferably in school districts
  • In-depth knowledge of special education compliance and processes
  • Strong assessment and report-writing skills
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Commitment to ethical standards and collaborative teamwork

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individualized educational evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services
  • Interpret assessment data and present findings to families, educators, and IEP teams
  • Develop clear, actionable recommendations tailored to each student’s unique learning profile
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams regarding instructional and behavioral strategies
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for compliance and reporting
  • Support the implementation of IEPs and participate in eligibility, review, and dismissal meetings

Position Highlights:

  • W-2 contract position spanning the 2025–2026 academic year
