This is an engaging contract opportunity in a school-based setting, working in-person to deliver comprehensive diagnostic and assessment services. Qualifications & Background:
- Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician in Texas
- Professional experience working in K–12 settings, preferably in school districts
- In-depth knowledge of special education compliance and processes
- Strong assessment and report-writing skills
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to ethical standards and collaborative teamwork
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individualized educational evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services
- Interpret assessment data and present findings to families, educators, and IEP teams
- Develop clear, actionable recommendations tailored to each student’s unique learning profile
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams regarding instructional and behavioral strategies
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for compliance and reporting
- Support the implementation of IEPs and participate in eligibility, review, and dismissal meetings
