This contract position focuses on providing expert evaluation and assessment services for children and youth aged 2 to 21, allowing you to make a meaningful impact at key stages of student development. This assignment runs from mid-September through December, with the possibility for extension based on school needs.

Key Experience and Qualifications:

  • Credentialed as an Educational Diagnostician or Psychometrist
  • Proven experience conducting educational evaluations for students aged 2-21
  • Strong understanding of special education law and best practices for assessment
  • Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, families, and school staff
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Ability to adapt assessments for developmental and age-appropriate needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive educational assessments to identify strengths and needs in students aged 2 through 21
  • Administer, score, and interpret standardized tests and other diagnostic tools
  • Collaborate with special education teams to develop individualized evaluation plans and make eligibility recommendations
  • Prepare clear, detailed reports summarizing findings and actionable recommendations
  • Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings, sharing insights with staff and families
  • Maintain timely and compliant documentation according to school and state guidelines
  • Support a positive, student-centered evaluation process
