Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician certification
- Strong assessment, reporting, and case management abilities
- Experience working within an elementary school setting preferred
- Familiarity with special education law, eligibility criteria, and the ARD process
- Detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about advocating for student needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations for elementary students
- Interpret test data and provide clear, actionable recommendations
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and ARD committees to develop individualized education plans
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
- Serve as a valued resource for classroom teachers and staff regarding interventions and support strategies
