A contract opportunity is available for experienced Educational Diagnosticians in a dynamic educational environment near Weatherford, TX. This is a full-time, on-site only position where your expertise will positively impact students, families, and school teams across two campuses.
In this itinerant role, you’ll utilize your diagnostic skills to identify student needs, facilitate comprehensive evaluations, and play a key part in shaping individual education plans. You’ll collaborate with educators, participate in meetings, and serve as a critical resource for creating strategies that break down barriers to learning.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Valid Texas classroom teaching certificate.
- Completion of the state certification exam for educational diagnosticians.
- Three years of full-time teaching experience.
- Demonstrated success in a previous school-based diagnostician role.
- Ability to complete required fingerprinting for timely credentialing.
- Strong communication and report writing skills.
- Willingness to travel between two school sites within the district.
- Bilingual in Spanish & English is a plus (separate openings available for bilingual candidates).
Your Impact & Responsibilities:
- Conduct formal student assessments using appropriate diagnostic tools.
- Analyze and interpret testing data to develop clear, actionable reports.
- Attend and contribute to team meetings focused on student support and educational planning.
- Advise teachers and staff on assessment results and recommended interventions.
- Help ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding student evaluations.
This position offers a structured, full-time schedule (35 hours per week) during standard school hours, allowing you to focus on your students and provide continuity of care.
