The role encompasses itinerant responsibilities across two schools within a local district, where you will play a vital part in supporting a diverse student population.
In this position, you will conduct comprehensive educational assessments, prepare detailed reports, and collaborate in multidisciplinary team meetings. The focus is exclusively onsite, offering you hands-on engagement with students, staff, and families.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree required
- Texas classroom teaching certificate and three years of full-time classroom teaching experience
- Successful completion of the state certification exam for educational diagnosticians
- Previous experience as an educational diagnostician or in a similar school-based setting
- Fingerprint clearance, adhering to all time-sensitive credentialing requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform standardized testing, student evaluations, and progress assessments
- Prepare timely and comprehensive diagnostic reports
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Travel between two assigned schools within the district
- Collaborate with teachers, administration, and support personnel to develop intervention strategies
- Serve as a resource for instructional planning based on assessment data
