The role encompasses itinerant responsibilities across two schools within a local district, where you will play a vital part in supporting a diverse student population.

In this position, you will conduct comprehensive educational assessments, prepare detailed reports, and collaborate in multidisciplinary team meetings. The focus is exclusively onsite, offering you hands-on engagement with students, staff, and families.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree required
  • Texas classroom teaching certificate and three years of full-time classroom teaching experience
  • Successful completion of the state certification exam for educational diagnosticians
  • Previous experience as an educational diagnostician or in a similar school-based setting
  • Fingerprint clearance, adhering to all time-sensitive credentialing requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform standardized testing, student evaluations, and progress assessments
  • Prepare timely and comprehensive diagnostic reports
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
  • Travel between two assigned schools within the district
  • Collaborate with teachers, administration, and support personnel to develop intervention strategies
  • Serve as a resource for instructional planning based on assessment data
