Diagnostician Special Education Teacher - Whitehouse, Texas

This in-person, W-2 contract position offers the perfect chance to make a direct impact in the lives of students, collaborating within a supportive educational environment for 37.5 hours each week.

Working on-site, you’ll play a key role in identifying students’ unique special education needs, partnering with educators and families, and helping to shape individualized education programs that support student growth and success.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician in Texas
• Prior experience in a school-based setting highly preferred
• Thorough understanding of special education laws, assessments, and interventions
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with teachers, students, and families
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in case management and compliance documentation

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct educational assessments and interpret results for eligibility and planning
• Develop, write, and evaluate individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Consult with and support classroom teachers, administrators, and families regarding strategies and interventions
• Maintain accurate and compliant paperwork for all student cases
• Participate actively in ARD meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary team discussions
• Offer ongoing progress monitoring and recommendations for student success
