What you’ll need to bring:

• Valid Educational Diagnostician certification recognized in Texas
• Experience conducting comprehensive student evaluations
• Knowledge of special education laws, processes, and eligibility criteria
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, parents, and administrators
• Ability to develop and interpret educational and psychological assessment results

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct educational and psychological assessments for students referred for special education eligibility
• Lead data collection and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
• Interpret assessment data and make placement and program recommendations
• Write detailed evaluation reports that comply with state and federal regulations
• Work with educators and families to design and monitor appropriate academic and behavioral interventions
• Maintain accurate student records and adhere to all timelines
