An opportunity is available for an Educational Diagnostician to deliver comprehensive assessment and support services to K-12 students for the 2025–2026 school year in Whitehouse, Texas. This W-2 contract role offers a full-time schedule with 37.5 hours per week committed to both direct student interaction and related indirect duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to identify students’ learning needs and eligibility for special education services.
- Interpret assessment results and prepare detailed reports to guide individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and development.
- Monitor student progress and adjust recommendations as necessary.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to special education.
Qualifications:
- Valid Educational Diagnostician certification or licensure in Texas.
- Experience assessing K-12 students within school settings.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, assessment tools, and intervention methodologies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in person within the school district.
