Diagnostician Special Education Teacher - Whitehouse, Texas

As an essential member of the educational team, you'll have the chance to assess, identify, and support students with diverse learning needs, working collaboratively to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.

Qualifications:

• Certified Educational Diagnostician
• Proven experience in school settings preferred
• Exceptional evaluative, written, and verbal communication skills
• Strong ability to collaborate with staff, parents, and administration
• Working knowledge of current Special Education laws and procedures
• Effective time management and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and interpret academic and cognitive assessments to determine student eligibility for special education services
• Prepare clear and concise evaluation reports
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and administrators to support students’ needs
• Participate in ARD/IEP meetings, providing expertise to inform instructional planning
• Maintain timely and thorough documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Support 1-2 schools, building positive relationships with staff and students
