Educational Diagnostician Special Education Teacher in Whitesboro, TX

Qualifications & Experience:

• Certification as an Educational Diagnostician
• Proven background in evaluating and interpreting educational and psychological assessments
• Familiarity with special education procedures, state and federal regulations, and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective consultations with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Experience working in school settings preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive educational and diagnostic assessments for students referred for special education services
• Prepare detailed reports outlining evaluation results and recommendations
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop appropriate educational interventions and support strategies
• Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, presenting data and advocating for students’ needs
• Stay up-to-date with current best practices and legal requirements in special education
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with district and state guidelines
