Key responsibilities include:

• Safely transporting students to and from school, as well as to extracurricular activities
• Conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip bus inspections to maintain safety standards
• Keeping the bus clean, organized, and maintained
• Following all traffic regulations and school policies
• Assisting students with boarding, exiting, and ensuring their well-being during transit
• Communicating clearly with school officials, parents, and students
• Managing student behavior to promote a secure riding environment
• Promptly reporting incidents or maintenance needs to the appropriate contacts

Desired qualifications:

• A valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a passenger endorsement
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check
• Previous experience with school buses or similar vehicles is preferred
• Strong communication and people skills
• Flexibility to work early mornings, afternoons, and occasional extra hours
• Reliability, patience, and commitment to student safety
