Key Qualifications:

• State certification in General Education (with a focus on Health or Physical Education preferred)
• Previous classroom teaching experience in a middle or high school setting
• Strong communication skills and an enthusiasm for working with diverse learners
• Ability to engage students in topics like personal wellness, nutrition, and fitness
• Collaborative spirit to partner with staff across multiple campuses

Role Responsibilities:

• Instruct three Beginning Weights and Nutrition classes at the high school level
• Lead engaging Personal Wellness lessons and advisory period at the middle school
• Develop and deliver creative, standards-based health curriculum
• Assess student progress and provide individualized support as needed
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes health and wellness
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives
