Qualifications:

• Current Michigan teaching certificate (required)
• Math Endorsement (please ensure this is included with your certification)
• Prior experience teaching high school math is strongly preferred
• Ability to engage and motivate adolescent learners
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Comfort with differentiated instruction and diverse learning needs
• Willingness to work collaboratively with fellow educators and support staff

What You’ll Do:

• Teach high school-level mathematics following the district-approved curriculum
• Develop engaging lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Assess and track student progress; provide feedback and support as needed
• Communicate with parents, guardians, and education professionals in support of student growth
• Participate in professional development and school community activities

Assignment Details:

• School year: August 24, 2026 – June 5, 2027
• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
• Work directly with high school students in a diverse district
