NOW HIRING: Infant Montessori Teacher (Ages 0–3)

Requirements:

• Holds a MACTE-accredited Montessori Infant/Toddler Credential (AMS, AMI, or equivalent)
• Meets Illinois DCFS staff qualification requirements
• Possesses a high school diploma or GED

Desired Experience & Skills:

• Solid understanding of human growth and development for infants and toddlers
• Proficient in Montessori teaching methods, classroom strategies, and materials
• Able to observe, assess, and respond to developmental milestones and needs
• Confident implementing individualized learning plans and leading a classroom environment
• Committed to developing supportive, culturally responsive spaces for all children

Responsibilities:

• Cultivate a nurturing, safe classroom aligned with Montessori principles
• Observe and document each child’s growth, interests, and unique needs
• Prepare engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons and sensory activities
• Foster independence, social-emotional growth, and a love for learning
• Communicate effectively and professionally with families and team members
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming Montessori environment
