Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, English, or a related field
• Valid teaching certification for general education at the middle school level
• Previous classroom experience, preferably with middle school students
• Strong ability to develop lesson plans and adapt instruction to varied learning styles
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Commitment to upholding academic standards and supporting diverse learners

Primary Responsibilities:

• Teach English Language Arts to middle school students, following approved curriculum guidelines
• Deliver engaging lessons that promote reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
• Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and standardized evaluations
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, staff, and families to support student achievement and growth
• Create an inclusive, positive classroom environment conducive to learning and participation
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events as required
