Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with Colorado state standards and district curriculum
• Teach a variety of middle school science subjects, including life science, earth science, and physical science
• Foster inquiry-based learning through experiments, demonstrations, and hands-on activities
• Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
• Maintain a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment
• Collaborate with fellow educators, administrators, and support staff
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and school personnel regarding academic progress

Qualifications

• Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Teaching License required
• Appropriate endorsement or certification for Science instruction preferred
• Previous middle school teaching experience preferred
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Passion for supporting student achievement and engagement in STEM education
