Gen Ed Teacher - Baltic, Connecticut

With a schedule running Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM, you'll enjoy consistent hours and the chance to make a meaningful impact throughout the school year—from August 24, 2026, through June 11, 2027.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in teaching or a related field
• Valid teaching certification or credentials as required for a general education classroom
• Previous experience in a K-8 or similar school setting preferred
• Flexibility to adapt to various classrooms and teaching assignments throughout the week
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students and faculty across grade levels

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a substitute and floater teacher for Kindergarten through 8th grade
• Deliver and adapt lesson plans in the absence of classroom teachers
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning
• Manage classroom routines and student behavior effectively
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to ensure continuity and stability in student learning
• Maintain accurate attendance and classroom records as necessary
