Music General Education Teacher | Bensalem, Pennsylvania

A vibrant school community near Bensalem, PA, is seeking a passionate and dynamic Music Teacher to engage students through creative instruction and innovative lesson plans from August 24, 2026, to June 10, 2027.

This full-time, contract position requires a commitment of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. As a Music Teacher, you will guide students on a journey encompassing musical theory, appreciation, vocal and instrumental performance, and collaborative musicianship. You’ll build positive classroom communities, nurture artistic development, and contribute to exciting school programs and performances.

What we’re seeking:

• Valid Pennsylvania Music Teacher Certification (K–8 minimum)
• Open to out-of-state or emergency-certified educators with significant experience
• Previous classroom or school-based music teaching experience preferred
• Knowledge of child development and effective instructional practices for grades K–8
• Strong classroom management and student engagement skills
• Enthusiasm for creating an inclusive and welcoming music learning environment

Your role will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging general music lessons to K-8 students
• Preparing students for concerts, recitals, and school events
• Collaborating with fellow educators and arts departments
• Adapting lessons for diverse learning styles and needs
• Assessing and reporting student progress in music education
• Encouraging students’ creativity and musical exploration
