What you’ll bring:

• Active state teaching certification in General Education (required)
• Demonstrated experience as a classroom teacher for elementary grades
• Prior work offering math instruction to grades 4-5 highly preferred
• Familiarity with library/media resources and effective literacy practices
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Flexibility and commitment to engaging students in diverse learning activities
• Readiness to interview and begin quickly

Key responsibilities include:

• Teach core math content to 4th and 5th grade students, adapting lessons for diverse learners
• Guide library activities, foster research skills, and encourage a lifelong love of reading
• Collaborate with grade-level teams to develop and implement curriculum and enrichment programs
• Maintain accurate records of student achievement and progress
• Establish a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
