Inspire junior high students to develop vital technology skills as a Computer Literacy Teacher in a dynamic school environment near Berwyn, IL. This full-time contract opportunity runs from August 17, 2026, to June 2, 2027, and provides the chance to create a lasting impact on students at Wentworth Junior High.

Immerse yourself in small class settings—fewer than 20 students per class—where you can truly get to know your pupils and tailor instruction to meet their needs. As a Computer Literacy/Technology Teacher, you’ll empower students with essential digital knowledge and problem-solving abilities that prepare them for high school and beyond.

Ideal Background and Experience:

  • Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) for Illinois.
  • Experience teaching computer science or related technology content at the junior high or high school level.
  • Demonstrated history of career consistency and reliability.
  • Commitment to student growth, engagement, and individualized support—prioritizing student outcomes above rigid adherence to curriculum.
  • Classroom management skills geared toward fostering a positive, inclusive, and tech-friendly environment.
  • Passion for promoting digital citizenship and responsible technology usage.

Primary Responsibilities:
