Gen Ed Teacher - Bowman, SC

Key Qualifications:

• Hold active licensure as an educator in any state (must obtain South Carolina Department of Education reciprocity before August start date)
• Experience teaching in General Education classrooms—art instruction experience preferred
• Strong classroom management and creative lesson planning skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, families, and community members

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate art instruction to elementary students based on state curriculum guidelines
• Develop and implement lesson plans that encourage creativity and individual expression
• Assess student achievement, provide constructive feedback, and track progress
• Organize displays of student artwork throughout the school and participate in special events
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and administrators to support student success
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student accomplishments and classroom activities
