Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a long-term substitute teaching computer literacy and technology concepts to engaged 6th-grade students. This is an onsite role at the junior high level, beginning August 17, 2026 and concluding June 2, 2027. You’ll lead a classroom of fewer than 20 students, guiding them through fundamental computer science skills and encouraging digital confidence—all in a supportive school environment that values student-centered approaches.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Prior experience teaching computer science or related technology content
- Demonstrated history of consistent, successful roles in education
- Preferential consideration for candidates with high school teaching experience

- Strong classroom management and adaptable communication style

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver computer literacy and technology lessons to 6th-grade students using best-practice pedagogy

- Collaborate with school staff to support overall student development
