Qualifications & Experience
- Valid teaching certification in general education for grades 9-12 (Science emphasis preferred)
- Experience teaching biology and/or science to high school students
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to develop and adapt lesson plans that meet curriculum standards
- Enthusiasm for supporting the academic and social development of adolescents
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver interactive and well-structured biology lessons to 9th grade students
- Incorporate a variety of instructional strategies and technology to reach diverse learners
- Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, and examinations
- Provide timely feedback and maintain accurate records of student achievement
- Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and school staff regarding student progress and classroom activities
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom atmosphere
- Participate in departmental meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities
