Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in General Education or Foreign Language (Mandarin Chinese)
• Experience teaching Mandarin Chinese to elementary or middle grades (K–8 students preferred)
• Strong command of Mandarin Chinese language and culture
• Ability to develop age-appropriate and immersive lesson plans
• Passion for cultural education, student engagement, and differentiated instruction
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Comfortable working collaboratively with colleagues and school administration

Role and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver comprehensive Mandarin Chinese lessons for K–8 students
• Create an engaging, supportive learning environment that encourages language acquisition
• Integrate cultural knowledge and immersive activities to enhance language understanding
• Track student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt instruction to varied learning needs
• Collaborate with other educators to enrich curriculum and participate in school initiatives
