Skills, Experience, and Requirements:

• Demonstrated mastery of Social Studies content and instructional techniques
• Ability to create dynamic lesson plans aligned with state and district standards, utilizing formative assessment and differentiated instruction
• Active and valid Pennsylvania teaching certification or eligibility for an emergency teaching permit (requires at least a bachelor’s degree)
• Completion of all required Pennsylvania clearances prior to start
• Previous experience teaching in a school environment, preferably in an urban setting
• Strong classroom and behavioral management skills
• Comfort and adaptability working within district expectations and unique community dynamics
• Reliable transportation for punctual onsite attendance
