What You'll Bring:

• Active teaching certification or licensure appropriate for high school general education math
• Bachelor’s degree (required for emergency teaching permit)
• Demonstrated experience teaching in a school setting, especially in urban environments
• Strong command of subject matter and instructional best practices
• Proficiency in designing and executing lesson plans aligned with state and district standards
• Expertise in formative assessment and differentiated instruction
• Reliable transportation and promptness within the workday hours of 8:30 AM–4:00 PM
• Ability to complete all required Pennsylvania clearances
• Exceptional classroom and behavioral management skills
• Comfort with district processes and commitment to onsite presence
• Adaptability and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver high school math instruction to general education students with potential for collaborative work with SPED staff, when necessary
• Design engaging curriculum tailored to diverse learning needs
• Assess student progress and adapt instruction through data-driven methods
• Promote a positive, disciplined learning environment
• Maintain consistent communication with colleagues and school leadership
• Complete all assigned duties in accordance with state, district, and school policies
