You’ll work a full-time, 37.5 hours per week schedule from Monday through Friday, shaping lessons for diverse learners and empowering students during formative years of their educational journey.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with ESL endorsement (must cover at least 5th–8th grade)
- Preference for bilingual PEL endorsement holders
- Experience in general education and ESL classroom instruction
- Solid classroom management skills and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all students
- Ability to design, deliver, and adapt lessons that support both native and non-native English speakers
Responsibilities Include:
- Planning and leading engaging English Language and general education instruction across two campuses
- Administering, proctoring, and grading assessments to track student progress
- Developing differentiated learning strategies for a range of language proficiencies
- Fostering a supportive classroom atmosphere to nurture student growth and confidence
- Collaborating with fellow staff and school administrators to maximize student success
This engaging role offers the opportunity to earn a competitive hourly wage, with rates between $37.50 and $46.75, based on your experience, degree level, and licensure.
