Key Qualifications:

• Active Illinois teaching license and certification required
• CTE endorsement
• Previous school-based teaching experience is essential
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to supporting a diverse student body and promoting academic success

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans in accordance with established curriculum standards
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to facilitate growth
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to enhance educational outcomes
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and assessment data
• Participate in school-based meetings, professional development opportunities, and extracurricular activities as appropriate

Role Details:

• Full-time contract position, Monday through Friday
• Work hours: 7:30AM – 2:21PM
• Caseload includes general teaching duties at the junior high level
• 1 position available; interviews are 30 minutes in length
• Immediate start with assignment running through June 3, 2027
