Step into a rewarding classroom setting as a General Education Teacher for a 4th-grade classroom. This contract-based opportunity begins in mid-August 2026 and runs through the end of the school year in early June 2027. Key Qualifications:

• Active Illinois teaching license and Professional Educator License (PEL) required
• Previous experience working as a general education teacher, with preference for elementary/4th grade experience
• Strong classroom management skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset
• Ability to develop age-appropriate lesson plans and tailor instruction to diverse learning needs
• Dedicated to supporting students’ social-emotional and academic development

Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction in all core subjects for a 4th-grade general education classroom
• Create engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards
• Assess student performance, track progress, and communicate regularly with families
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning atmosphere
• Collaborate with grade-level teams and participate in school-wide meetings and initiatives
• Maintain accurate records, prepare required reports, and uphold all school policies
