Desired Qualifications:

  • Current teaching certification in Elementary Education (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Proven experience or strong knowledge in teaching English-Language Arts curriculum at the upper elementary level
  • Solid classroom management skills with the ability to motivate and engage all learners
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with colleagues, families, and administrators
  • Familiarity with Differentiated Instruction and evidence-based literacy strategies
  • Willingness to travel and adapt to new settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state standards and support literacy development
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes student success
  • Assess and track student progress, providing timely feedback and targeted instruction
