Spanish Gen Ed Teacher - Des Plaines, Illinois

Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with endorsements in both Elementary Education and Bilingual Education
• Proficiency in Spanish and English
• Previous experience in an elementary classroom setting strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to fostering a culturally responsive learning atmosphere

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction to 3rd grade students in both English and Spanish
• Develop and implement differentiated lesson plans that address the needs of bilingual learners
• Assess student progress, provide meaningful feedback, and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and families to support student achievement
• Uphold a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom climate
