Mathematics Math Gen Ed Teacher - Detroit, Michigan

Ignite a passion for mathematics in young learners as a General Education Math Teacher for a full-time contract position serving a dynamic 6th-grade caseload. This role, located near Detroit, MI, is designed for skilled educators excited to support students’ growth in a diverse, K-12 school community. The position begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year, with potential for extension into the next school year.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in General Education (Math) for the appropriate grade level
• Prior experience teaching math at the middle school level strongly preferred
• Deep understanding of math curriculum and differentiated instruction
• Strong classroom management and organization skills
• Ability to connect with and motivate a variety of learners
• Collaborative spirit for working with fellow educators, administrators, and families
