Key Qualifications:

• Active Louisiana Teaching License/Certification with all necessary endorsements
• Proven experience or strong desire to work with English Language Learners (ELLs)
• Background in General Education, particularly with ELA-focused curriculum
• Ability to design engaging lesson plans tailored for diverse learning needs
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Adaptable and collaborative within a school community

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lessons to build foundational and advanced English skills for ELL students
• Support students in acquiring language fluency while building academic confidence
• Adapt teaching materials and strategies to accommodate varying proficiency levels
• Create a culturally responsive, inclusive classroom environment
• Communicate with students, families, and colleagues to ensure students' academic progress
• Maintain thorough records of student growth and instructional adjustments
• Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives

This position is full-time (37.5 hours/week), onsite only, and spans until May 2027, offering the chance to make a real impact over multiple school years.
