General Education Teacher | Easton, Pennsylvania

A part-time Health & Physical Education teaching opportunity is available serving K-12 students within several school districts in Lehigh County, PA. This role offers the chance to positively influence students’ physical fitness, health literacy, and overall wellness through engaging and developmentally appropriate instruction.

Location: Schools in Catasauqua, Parkland, and Salisbury School Districts, Lehigh County, PA (IU main office in Schnecksville)

Job Type: Contract, part-time (approximately 20 hours per week, 3 days a week)

Duration: ASAP through June 12, 2026 (tentative, aligned with the school calendar)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Health and Physical Education lessons aligned with state standards
• Promote physical fitness, motor skill development, teamwork, and healthy lifestyle habits
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse student needs and abilities
• Monitor and assess student progress with timely, constructive feedback
• Ensure classroom and equipment safety at all times
• Collaborate with colleagues and maintain communication with families as appropriate

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate for Health & Physical Education PK–12 or Physical Education PK–12
• Bachelor’s degree in Health, Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field
• Experience teaching K-12 students across diverse classroom settings
• Commitment to promoting student wellness and fostering a positive learning environment
