What we’re looking for:

• Active and current New York State teaching license/certification
• Certification in any teaching area, with a strong enthusiasm for art education
• Experience or interest in working as a General Education Teacher
• Ability to travel between different schools located in the Hornell, Greenwood, and Bath areas
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive classroom presence
• Innovative approach to lesson planning and engagement

In this role, you will:

• Teach art classes to elementary or secondary students as assigned, adapting to diverse learning environments
• Develop creative and inclusive lesson plans that meet curriculum standards
• Encourage students’ self-expression and appreciation for the arts
• Maintain open communication with staff, administrators, and parents
• Create a vibrant, supportive classroom that fosters individual and collective growth
• Manage and organize art supplies, projects, and displays across multiple locations
