Spanish Gen Ed Teacher - Glendale Heights, IL

Inspire young learners and foster a love for language and culture as a certified Bilingual Spanish Teacher in a vibrant elementary school setting. This full-time, onsite contract role offers an exciting opportunity to support third-grade students in their academic and language development journey.

As a valued educator, you’ll play a pivotal role within an inclusive learning environment, encouraging students to excel in both general education and Spanish. You'll implement dynamic lesson plans, support diverse learning needs, and collaborate closely with staff and families to promote student success.

What you need to succeed:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with endorsements in Elementary Education and Bilingual Education
• Demonstrated proficiency in both English and Spanish
• Experience working in elementary classrooms, ideally with bilingual or dual language learners
• Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom atmosphere
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

What you'll be doing:

• Deliver comprehensive instruction to 3rd grade bilingual students following curriculum standards
• Foster a supportive classroom community that values language and cultural diversity
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and language proficiency levels
• Track student progress and communicate development with parents and educational staff
• Participate in professional development and school events as needed
• Maintain accurate records and fulfill all compliance requirements
