Key Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Math endorsement encompassing at least 5th/6th grade.
• Experience teaching mathematics, ideally at the upper elementary or middle school level.
• Strong classroom management capabilities and instructional skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction for a variety of learning needs.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver clear, standards-based math instruction to 5th and 6th graders.
• Design engaging lesson plans and hands-on activities.
• Administer, grade, and analyze tests and assignments to track student progress.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents and collaborate with teaching teams.
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learners.

This full-time opportunity offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, 37.5 hours per week. Depending on your experience and educational background, hourly compensation ranges from $37.50 to $46.75.
