Key Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in General Education or Foreign Language (Mandarin Chinese)
• Demonstrated experience teaching Mandarin Chinese, ideally in K–8 settings
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster an inclusive learning environment
• Proven ability to adapt lessons for diverse learners and proficiency levels
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging Mandarin Chinese language curriculum to students in grades K–8
• Integrate multicultural content and experiential learning into classroom activities
• Assess student progress and tailor instruction to individual needs
• Create a positive, encouraging environment that supports language acquisition and cultural appreciation
• Collaborate with staff in curriculum planning, parent engagement, and extracurricular programming
• Maintain up-to-date records of student achievement and participation
