Qualifications and Requirements:

• Active Louisiana Department of Education teaching certification—current and ready to use (Temporary Authority to Teach is not accepted)
• Previous experience teaching science at the high school level is highly regarded
• Ability to begin credentialing promptly; the hiring process includes fingerprinting and pre-hire drug screening as required by the district and agency
• Strong classroom management skills, with a commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment
• Willingness to work a school-based schedule and adapt to the needs of multiple campuses, as assigned
