What We’re Looking For:

• Background in general education teaching at the elementary, middle, or high school level
• Experience or strong interest in teaching chess, robotics, and coding
• Comfortable working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Availability for after-school hours (between 3-6pm)
• Reliable transportation and willingness to commute throughout Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia (serving up to 10 different campuses)
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engaging after-school sessions (5-10 hours per week) focused on chess, robotics, and coding concepts
• Adapt lessons and activities for a diverse range of students and skill levels
• Foster a supportive, enthusiastic learning environment to encourage problem-solving and teamwork
• Provide feedback to students and collaborate with other educators
