Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Ohio certification to teach English as a Second Language
• Proven background as a General Education Teacher and/or ESL Teacher
• Experience working with K-12 student populations, with a strong understanding of developmental and academic needs across grade levels
• Ability to travel between different buildings within the district as required
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct ESL instruction to K-12 students, adapting lessons to address a range of proficiency levels and cultural backgrounds
• Develop and implement engaging, standards-based lessons supporting language acquisition and academic progress
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, school staff, and parents to ensure individualized support for each student
• Assess student progress and maintain accurate documentation of student development and program effectiveness
• Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and motivated to learn
• Participate in relevant professional development activities to continuously enhance teaching practices
