General Education Teacher | Joliet, Illinois

You’ll work from 7:30AM to 2:21PM, delivering instruction and supporting students as they grow and learn. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Illinois teaching licensure and certification required
• CTE (Career and Technical Education) endorsement is a must
• Previous experience working in a school-based setting
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to inspire and motivate junior high students
• Comfortable participating in a 30-minute interview process

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
• Assess student progress, provide feedback, and adapt teaching methods as needed
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff for holistic student development
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress
• Participate in professional development and school meetings
