Essential Qualifications:
- Valid teaching licensure and certification for the state of Illinois
- CTE endorsement required
- Prior experience in a school-based setting
- Strong grasp of general education teaching principles and instructional methods
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to adapt lessons to varied learning styles
Responsibilities:
- Deliver effective instruction across the general education curriculum for students in a junior high setting
- Develop daily lesson plans that align with state standards and individual student needs
- Assess student progress, providing both formal evaluations and informal feedback
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom culture
- Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and families to maximize student success
- Participate in professional development and any required school meetings
- Uphold school policies and maintain accurate records of attendance and grades

- Full-time hours, Monday through Friday (7:30AM - 2:21PM)

- On-site at a junior high school near Joliet, IL
- Interviews are 30 minutes in duration
