English as a Second Language (ESL) Gen Ed Teacher - Kenner, Louisiana

This role begins as soon as possible and runs through May 27, 2027, following the district's academic year. You’ll work 35 hours per week (Monday through Friday), enjoying a predictable routine and professional school setting.

What We’re Seeking:

• Active, valid Louisiana DOE teaching certificate (required)
• Experience as an ESL Teacher, General Education Teacher, or both preferred
• Must NOT be working with temporary or teaching authorization (full certification required)
• Ready to start immediately; must already hold required credentials (no exceptions)
• Ability to successfully pass district-specific drug screening and fingerprinting
• Adaptability to teach at multiple campuses, age groups, and varying caseloads as assigned

Responsibilities Include:

• Develop and deliver engaging lessons to support students’ English language proficiency and academic growth
• Assess, monitor, and document student progress
• Collaborate with fellow educators and administrative staff
• Uphold district-wide educational standards and classroom management strategies
• Communicate regularly with students, families, and colleagues
