Key Qualifications:

• Active and current South Carolina state teaching license
• Credentialed in Middle Level Science or Science (required—no exceptions)
• Experience teaching general education science at the middle school level preferred
• Strong classroom management skills, along with creativity in lesson planning

Primary Responsibilities:

• Teach general education science classes to middle school students Monday through Friday
• Develop and implement engaging, standards-based lesson plans
• Assess student progress and communicate regularly with parents and other staff

• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events
• Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
