Spanish Gen Ed Teacher - La Place, Louisiana

A contract position is available for a dedicated Spanish Teacher at a local high school near La Place, LA, starting as soon as possible and extending through late May 2027. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity working 35 hours per week, ideal for an educator passionate about delivering engaging language instruction and supporting student achievement.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Louisiana Spanish/Foreign Language Educator Certificate (covering high school grade levels).
• Background in general education teaching, with strong classroom management skills.
• Proficiency in designing lessons that promote Spanish language acquisition and cultural awareness.
• Ability to create a positive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom atmosphere.
• Previous experience teaching Spanish at the high school level preferred.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead daily Spanish classes, using innovative teaching strategies to engage high school students.
