Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Louisiana Spanish/Foreign Language Educator Certificate (covering high school grade levels).
- Background in general education teaching, with strong classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in designing lessons that promote Spanish language acquisition and cultural awareness.
- Ability to create a positive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom atmosphere.
- Previous experience teaching Spanish at the high school level preferred.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead daily Spanish classes, using innovative teaching strategies to engage high school students.
- Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student needs.
- Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and assessments, providing timely feedback.
